A new love for my baby

Posted on: April 2, 2012

When I was in college I went to Ireland for a three-week intensive acting course in Dublin.  It was during this time that I discovered something new.  Something that would change my life.  Forever.

Choose countriesThat’s right: Nutella.

This stuff is AMAZING.  If you’ve never had it, you need to try it.  It’s a jar full of hazlenut chocolaty goodness. Mmmmmmm

Being the good mother that I am, I have, of course, introduced “G” to Nutella.  He LOVES it.  Good boy!  Just this weekend we enjoyed some graham crackers with Nutella.  At first, “G” was eating the whole graham cracker with the nutella

(I apologize for the blurriness of these pictures.  They are from my cell phone and it’s tricky to take cell phone pictures of a squirmy 1yr old sitting on your lap).

Then, as I watched him, I realized he wasn’t eating the cracker.  He was just licking the Nutella off of the cracker and only eating that.  Now there’s a boy after my own heart!  As you can see, it got pretty messy too.

But, it did make him quite happy.  And, really, how could Nutella not make a person happy?

Now, all of you go grab some Nutella and maybe some crackers or toast or something else yummy to spread it on and enjoy!

I’ll just be over here with my jar and a spoon…

Lol, Leah I totally am on the same page with you! I learned about this stuff from an exchange student who stayed with us from Denmark. I now always have a jar on hand to have a spoonful or slather it on something. I like to create new recipes like the other night, I sliced a banana and put dollops of peanut butter and Nutella with it…heavenly!!

it’s great with fluff too

Yes, it is. Yum!
