A season of change

There is one thing in life that you can always count on; things don’t stay the same, they are always changing.  Our world changes day in and day out.  We go through transition after transition as we grow.  Nothing stays the same, no matter how much we may want it to.

My family is entering into a new season of change.  My husband has accepted a teaching position in South Carolina, so we’ll be packing up our life in Illinois and heading south.  It’s a bittersweet time for us.  We are excited about and grateful for the new opportunity, but sad to leave behind so many wonderful friends.  But we know in our hearts this is God’s will for our lives and are ready to go.

Our move is going to take place at the end of July, so we are busy packing boxes and making arrangements.  With that being said, I may not be posting quite as frequently as I normally do.   Don’t worry, I’m not going away completely.  I will still write and post but with work, summer camp, packing, and spending our last moments with loved ones, things are a bit crazy around here.  So, please forgive me if you do not hear from me as often in the next couple of months.  Hopefully by mid August we will be completely settled into our new home and I will be back to my normal blogging schedule.

Until my next post….
